Brothers, we are always told to 'vote and vote for the good of Masonry' before voting on new petitioners. With the AR Grand Lodge's position being that 'we contract out our constitutional rights when we become Masons,' I feel it is incumbent upon each voting Mason to consider dropping a black ball to prevent a potential Brother from being misled into becoming a Mason. At least for the present time. Or, until the courts rule that we DO NOT give up our rights when we become Masons. I realize this is a drastic position, but 'desperate times call for desperate measures.'
The potential brother could be counseled to wait about applying for membership until the AR Grand Lodge begins to treat its member Masons with the respect they deserve. Instead of how they now view and treat us!!!
